Welcome to the website of St. Ronans Ladies Gaelic Football Club.
We have formed the club to promote Ladies Gaelic Football among the girls in the parish of Kilronan.

In June we had the official launch of our club and to mark the occasion we held a family fun day at Kilronan Park in Ballyfarnon, home of St Ronans GAA Club.
The launch was attended by former Roscommon goalkeeping great, Shane Curran and we were fortunate to enjoy one of the few fine days of this summer. There was a good turnout of support to enjoy the sporting and novelty activities, the good food and music. This is an event we hope to build on and with your support we can make it bigger and better each year.

On the football field we took part in the under 12 and under 14 leagues this year. Next year we hope to add under 16 to the list. Although all competitions are now completed for 2008, we intend to continue training through the winter in preparation for next years leagues, while also providing a safe and fun sporting outlet for the girls in the parish. Hopefully we will be able to organise some challenge games too.

Thankyou to everyone who has helped get the club off the ground this year.
The players for their enthusiasm and hard work, the parents for their support, those who have taken on administrative roles on the club committee and the coaches who have trained and coached the girls. Also, thanks to St Ronans GAA Club for their support and to everyone in the parish who has helped in any way.

As time goes on we will add new features to this website to ensure it remains informative, fun and up to date with club activities.
